Turmeric Spiced Parsnip Chips (Baked)
 
 
Ingredients
  • 6 parsnips
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp chilli powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200c degrees
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper
  3. Peel and thinly slice the parsnips with a mandolin (or thick peeler would work)
  4. Place the sliced parsnips in a bowl with all the spices and melted coconut oil
  5. Toss until well combined
  6. Lay parsnip in a single layer (you may need to do 2 batches)
  7. Bake for 12 mins or until golden, then turn and bake for another 12 mins
  8. Check carefully as they can burn quickly depending on your oven
  9. Serve immediately
