Magical Multipurpose Paleo Dough Recipe by Primal Girl – Things I like to make

May Ly
I am so glad to finally have my blog up so I can post in detail this amazing find! ok, so it was over 8 months ago when I first found it, but I still use the dough regularly!

Primal Girl’s Magical Multipurpose Paleo Dough is so versatile, with two options (paleo or primal). I have used it as a pizza base & crackers and even made pizza pockets. It’s great as you can make a large batch and freeze the dough into portions until needed. My kids love them. The recipe costs $3.95 and it was worth it for me. There are many variations from rolls to tortillas, pizza bases & crackers in a very well presented pdf.

[UPDATE: Over 2 years later and we are still using this dough, new pics added below :)]

I made tortillas with the dough to have with my Honey Shredded Beef & Probiotic Rich Guacamole

These are the tortillas I make with the dough. Bake them in the oven for 4 mins at 200c degrees (390f), keep them covered or in a container until you need them. Pan fry with oil or fat of choice then sprinkle some salt on before serving. I have them here with my Honey Shredded Beef & Probiotic Rich Guacamole. It is seriously tasty. This is why I always keep a big batch in my freezer.

These tortillas are great, pop them in the oven for 4 mins and keep them covered until needed.
Fry them up in the pan and sprinkle some salt before serving.

For mini pizzas, just roll them out a little thicker than the tortillas, add home made tomato sauce and your favourite toppings. In the oven for around 14 minutes at 200c degrees (390f).

For Pizza pockets, you can make them the night before and pop them in the oven in the morning for breakfast. I used the Paleo dough version for these pockets as I added some cheese in the filling, this was real simple to make just by rolling balls of dough about 4 cms (1/12 inch) in diameter, flatten slightly and made a thumbprint, add the fillings then carefully close the ball up. Bake for about 14mins at 200c degrees (390f)

Pizza Pockets – Yes it’s real, you can make pizza pockets paleo (cheese or no cheese!)

To make the pizza pockets, roll in a small ball (about 1.5 inch wide) and make a thumbprint to add your ingredients, gently close the dough over the ingredients
Below is an old pic from 2014 taken with my iPhone, before my blogging started.
I also made these Zaatar Pizza’s using the primal dough which I pack in my kids lunch box for recess.  I make my own Zaatar mix with sumac, oregano, thyme, marjoram, toasted sesame & salt
And these are another favourite treat using the paleo dough, Cinnamon & honey sesame balls
You can get the recipe in the link below, which will include the Paleo version & Primal version of the dough. My favourite is the Paleo version, which I make in bulk and freeze in small portions. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
